Small Group Sizes
Many courses suffer from a high delegate-to-trainer ratio, which can limit individual attention. At Surgical Skills Network, we prioritise quality over quantity, offering a small group format with only 8 delegate spaces per course.
This ensures each participant benefits from personalised teaching, guidance, and assessment, with ample opportunities for one-to-one training and support. Our tailored approach is designed to optimise skill development, allowing delegates to gain confidence and proficiency in their surgical techniques through focused, hands-on learning.
DOPS Assessments
As part of the Directed Enhanced Services (DES) criteria, delegates are required to complete Directly Observed Procedural Skills (DOPS) assessments to demonstrate their competencies. These assessments can be completed as part of the course, ensuring that participants not only gain practical skills but also meet the necessary standards for professional practice.
